The studio is built around some of the usual mix of kit, boxes old and new – but is teamed with my own equipment upgrades and the approach i use for recording and mixing. Most importantly, I like to think of this creative and technical authenticity as a source for new and exciting possibilities sonically and ultimately to distinct and innovative musical potential.

The studio is located in a turn of the century home in Toronto’s East end Greektown district. The house is rearranged to suit tracking, and i have designed my mix room / smaller tracking room within the house itself. For larger scale projects i prefer to track bed tracks at Ratspace – an associate space here in Toronto – and then bring the project back to second exit for further recording and mixing. If you’re in to this kind of thing and would like to form a creative partnership, you’ll find it makes for a very relaxed, supportive and inspiring work environment.

I also offer services for repairs and upgrades for a variety of equipment. See Upgrade and Repair Services for more information.
